All of our rooms include a 7 course gourmet breakfast, complimentary afternoon wine reception and homemade snacks. We have high speed wireless internet available throughout the Inn. Three suites are available, each combining two of our beautiful rooms.
Sea Lion Room
Large corner room with a stunning wall of windows overlooking the ocean, as well as views of the flower gardens. Our largest private balcony. One queen-size bed, beautiful antiques, extra large bathroom with mirrored walls and large tub and shower.
This place was the perfect place to start our lives together. Thank you for the perfect day, the perfect romantic night, the perfect breakfast and the perfect hosts. Even the “inn kitties” were purrfect!”

Beluga Whale Room
Large corner room with a private balcony overlooking the ocean. One queen-size bed on the main floor, one queen-size bed in the loft – accessible via a sturdy ladder, and a full bath. Children under the age of seven not allowed rooms with lofts. Ladder to the loft is rated at 175 pounds and the loft maximum weight is 350 pounds.

Spacious room with private balcony overlooking the ocean. One queen-size bed on the main floor, two twins in the loft -accessible via a sturdy ladder, full bath. Children under the age of seven not allowed in rooms with lofts. Ladder to the loft is rated at 175 pounds and the loft maximum weight is 350 pounds.
The views of Abalone Cove are simply breathtaking, only matched by the incredible gardens. Thank you for allowing our children to pick the blueberries, raspberries and strawberries! And darling Moby was a delight!

Gray Whale Room
This lovely ocean-view room hosts an alcove with love seat and coffee table under a large picture window overlooking the ocean. Queen-size bed, and a bathroom with shower.
I found the perfect place to renew my spirit. Thank you for preserving this sacred and spiritual sanctuary for the weary traveler.

Blue Whale Room
This is a large corner room with beautiful antique furnishings and a King-size bed. The alcove has a picture window overlooking the ocean. There is a seating area with couch, and a bathroom with shower. Northern windows overlook extensive flower and vegetable gardens. This room’s max capacity is two guests only (including children).
Thank you for allowing our family to stay and reconnect here. We have been apart for three months and this place gave us the ideal opportunity to be together. Bosco the cat is going to get fat eating all those hermit crabs at the beach!

Humpback Whale Room
Charming garden-view room with a queen-size bed, small table for in-room dining, a closet and a full bath.
Mmmmmm, purrfect is all I can say. From the wine and jacuzzi to the cozy bed, to the incredible aroma that wafted up from the kitchen (and then to eat the most delicious food EVER!). Thank you Lost Whale Inn for this respite from the busy world we live in.

Egret Room
Large corner garden-view room which has a view of the historic school house across the street. Queen-size bed and a daybed in an alcove which can be pulled out to give two single beds. Closet and a bathroom with a shower. Sleeps 4 maximum.
We found you on a misty afternoon and stayed to watch the green flash of the sunset (never saw one of those ever before!). Whale watching at its best! The children appreciated the berry picking and we loved the time to unwind. Beach trail is amazing. If you go down the rope, be sure and keep your eyes out for the sea lions…..they are everywhere.

Agate Room
Beautiful room off the small living room downstairs with a full private bath, queen-size bed with a dramatic, hand-made six-foot driftwood headboard with a picture window overlooking the flower gardens and a peek of the ocean.
Our stay was just perfect! We will be back as soon as we can be!
