Our Fall/Winter Special Offer: Two Tickets to Temptation
“Two Tickets to Temptation – Wine, Dine & Unwind” is this fall and winter’s special offering at the Inn for a third year in a row:
Thursdays through Sundays, starting every November through third week of March, come stay, play and unwind starting at just $199 per couple. *Select dates our special is not available. Please check out two tickets to temptation page for details.
The special includes afternoon wine reception, gourmet dinner, Jacuzzi, sauna, and 7-course buffet breakfast. Spa packages are also available. Holidays Excluded.
Room Rates & Policies
The Lost Whale Inn has three suites and five spacious rooms, all with private baths and queen-sized beds (the Blue Whale Room has a king-size bed). Most rooms have breath-taking ocean-views, and some have beautiful gardens views. Two of the ocean-view rooms have sleeping lofts for older children or an extra adult. One of the garden view rooms can sleep a family of four or three adults.
*At this time, Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all of our guest rooms are limited to a 2 person maximum (including children). Thank you for understanding!

Sea Lion Suite – $850 year-round plus 12% county bed tax (includes Agate Room, Sea Lion Room, and large private living room) *Must be booked over the phone, cannot be booked online.
“Whale of a Suite” – the Orca and Beluga Whale Rooms with private foyer – sleeps four to eight (additional charge for more than four guests) costs the price of the two rooms.
“Garden Suite” – the Egret and Humpback Whale Rooms with private hallway connecting – sleeps four to six (additional charge for more than four guests) costs the price of the two rooms.
Prices do not include county bed tax.
If a party takes 5 or more rooms, they are required to rent out the entire inn plus an additional non refundable $500 deposit at the time of booking. When renting out the entire inn alcohol is not provided by the inn. Guests may bring their own alcohol and no corkage fee will be charged. We can provide dinner for the party; prices depend on menu choices and time of year. Please contact us at (800) 677-7859 to discuss.
Rates are for double occupancy and include a gourmet breakfast and afternoon wine reception. The Beluga, Orca, Blue and Egret have max occupancy of four guests and the Gray, Humpback, Agate and Sea Lion have max occupancy of two guests. If you arrive with more people than our max occupancy allows for then you will still be responsible for your room and whether you decide to stay with the allotted number of guests or decide to leave.
Rates do not include 12% county bed tax.
Each additional person: $20
Each additional person on dinner nights: $40 for guest staying at the inn, $45 for outside guests
Children three and under are free
Please note: During the COVID-19 Pandemic we are only taking reservations with 2 night minimum stays
Children under the age of seven are not permitted in sleeping lofts. There is also a weight restriction of 175 pounds on the ladder leading to the loft and no more than a total of 350 pounds in the loft (two people). We do ask that parents please supervise their children at all times. We do our best to maintain an adult environment and ask that parents respect our other guests who are enjoying a more romantic experience.
We’re sorry, but no pets are allowed at the Inn. We do have dogs and cats on the premises, which remain outside of the house. Please check out our About the Inn page to meet them! If you are highly allergic to cats or dogs we do recommend you stay at another location because occasionally our guests accidentally let in our kitties.
Please note: During the COVID-19 Pandemic we are not taking deposits due to the highly fluctuating travel restrictions
Reservations: Must be secured by a credit card number and a 25% deposit of your stay. The deposit will be charged within 24 hours of your booking and we will confirm the deposit via email. For group or extended stays we may require an additional advanced non refundable deposit. Upon arrival, final payment may be made with cash, check, debit, visa, mastercard or AMEX.
For reservations more than 10 months out the deposit of 25% is non refundable. This deposit will not be refunded for any reason and cannot be applied to any future stays if there is a cancellation.
Check in is at 3 pm or later (our afternoon wine reception starts at 4 pm), and check out is by 11 am the day of your departure (breakfast is served each morning at 9 am). Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate early check-ins, but you are more than welcome to drop off your luggage. For a late checkout please discuss with us upon your arrival and we will do our best to accommodate.
Please note: During the COVID-19 Pandemic we are not taking deposits, we will have a 1 week cancellation policy. If you have a COVID-19 related cancellation within the 7 day window we will not enforce it. We do not want anyone to travel when they are sick or not comfortable travelling and have a financial consequence if they don’t. We also ask please be honest with us.
-If you cancel 15 days or more of your arrival we will refund the entire 25% deposit.
-If you cancel 14 days or within of your arrival you will lose your deposit.
-If you cancel seven days or within of your arrival, you will be charged the the remaining balance of your stay. If we can subsequently rent the room then no charges will be made and we will refund your deposit.
-We do not allow cancellations due to inclement weather.
Smoking is not allowed indoors. We ask that you please smoke away from the house, there are beautiful places to relax on the grounds. Thank you.
